Interestingly enough I thought the same, until I found out that it did actually originate from pagan rituals, but the then Church(Roman Catholic) decided to adopt the ritual as one of their own so they based it on the Saints. I don't think it's something the church should be exactly proud of, but let them have their fun.

Halloween is entirely made up of REAL occult rituals that are still being performed today!

Let me put it the way I once heard someone put it: Can you imagine Jesus answering the door to give children candy on Halloween? Or carving jack-o-lanterns (their original purpose represented fellowship with Satan!!).

Halloween has nothing to do with Satan. Hallowe'en is short for All Hallow's Eve (the Eve of All Saints Day, the day after). Most of the rituals date from pre-Christian times from people who didn't believe in Satan.

Most of the bad press Halloween gets is due to ultra-conservative Christians who have made no effort to understand it. As a Christian I have no problem with it.

Oh I also missed the same goes for every other religion is wrong. The only way to heaven is through Christ and Him alone ========== In Reply To ========== What do you mean sinner's prayer. He confessed that he deserved to be on the cross and that Jesus Christ didn't.

There is no other way to heaven but through Jesus Christ, He is the Truth, the Life and the Way. How can non-christians go to heaven if they don't believe Jesus Christ died on the cross for us? Jake

The author of this poll was very smart. Both of these issues are talked about in the Bible. We don't have control of what happens to us or where our lives lead us. Killing ourselves either suicide or euthanasia is taking our lives in our own hands.
Now the more confusing thing, they are both the same in God's eyes yet 36% say euthanasia is wrong and 71% say suicide is wrong?! Wheres the sense?? They contradict eachother

Jake ========== In Reply To ========== That question on "do all non-Christians go to hell"? Well, does that mean all Christians go to heaven?

I got a pretty bad feeling that for quite a number of us who have taken the poll, we are christians, but not CHRISTIAN.

That thief who died on the cross with Jesus, the one who asked Jesus to remember him when he goes to heaven? Well, he never said the sinner's prayer, and he never went to church. He never tithed and so forth. Yet Jesus said that day he would be with HIM in paradise.

Think about it.
