A scapegoat is someone or something you blame for something bad.

Noone who believes in God uses God as a scapegoat. The term implies hostility. People DO NOT LIKE their scapegoats. That is why they are scapegoats.

Georgina, what miracles are you referring to? I have never seen anything I'd describe as miraculous ever, let alone "every day." Where is this magical place where you live?

By the way, I do think the universe is beautiful. But beauty is not miraculous in my book.

Well, gays may or may not be against the Bible, but the Bible is certainly anti-gay. In the book of Exodus, God enjoins us to murder all the fags.

A literal reading of the Bible would mandate a holocaust against gay people. I think (and hope) most Christians don't have the stomach for that.
