But he still had to be nominated for the award 13 days after he took office. He was nominated based on the belief that some time in the future he would be qualified for the Peace Prize.

Also, I'm not a conservative, so please don't insult me by calling me one.

At the time of me writing this I already am sick (probably a cold), and it seriously sucks.

That said, last night I couldn't sleep and kept feeling like I was going to vomit (I didn't) and the feeling alone was far more unpleasant than a cold of any length.

You pretty much just said that he got it for no reason ($%!@ing off conservitives isn't a legitimate reason for someone to get the Nobel Peace Prize).

Like you gave a crap who got the prize before Obama did.

Was it Martti Ahtisaari, of Finland, for his work to resolve international conflicts?

Well, was I right? Don't bother answering, I already know I am (but feel free to look it up anyway, It might win you $1,000,000 on a gameshow one day, ya never know).

Those are good points, except all the things that would make him worthy of the award were done after February 1st, which is the deadline for nomination.

He could probably be elegible for the 2010 award (he'd have done more than some of the earlier recipiants), but the 13 days he was in office before the deadline wasn't enough to qualify him for the Nobel Peace Prize.
