FYI, Gunge means any kind of sticky, semi-liquid substance in general, or in particular the artificial slime used in slapstick comedy shows like You Can't Do That on Television and such like.
Barefoot Hiking
I get the impression from stuff I've found on the internet that barefoot hiking is much more popular and accepted in New Zealand than in any other English-speaking country. I wonder why? By comparison it seems to be unusual in North America and practically unheard of in Britain.
I have taken prescribed Chinese herbal remedies on two occasions for coughs and colds, and found them totally effective.
On the contrary, the question shows that it's impossible to deny the existence of something unless you know what characteristics it would have if it did exist. For example, I can say truthfully that I don't believe that vampires exist, because I know the characteristics of a vampire(undead, drinking blood, sleeping in coffins, not liking garlic, etc) and I am convinced that a creature with these attributes is a myth. But if someone asked me if I believe that Thetans exist, for example, I couldn't truthfully answer yes or no because I don't know what Thetans are. So an atheist must have some kind of generic image of God in order to reject the existence of God.
I prefer the more traditional varities, especially Alex Bradford and the Five Blind Boys of Mississippi
