Posted in Length of Mens' Shorts on 2014-06-06 09:44:33

I don't see anything wrong with short shorts on men. I'm 43 years old and I wear shorts of all kinds...short shorts, mid-thigh shorts and knee-length shorts. The only things I most definitely won't wear are shorts that go below the knees and down to the ankles. Those abominations are NOT shorts. Shorts, as defined in the dictionary, are "any trousers with legs abbreviated above the knees".

Hey, marcusmodel!

The answer to your question is simple:

DO YOU THINK THEY WANT TO LOSE THEIR LICENSE???

Why wait until college? If you have a girlfriend who is adept with a camera, let her take some still-action shot of you...from clothed to nude. See what kind of reaction you get from her. If it's one of shock...you may not be ready. If it's one of approval (such as a wolf-whistle...you know which one I'm talking about)...then go for it. I started my nude work BEFORE college so as to be prepared (and less nervous) for any art or photography class.

Hi, nakedrhode!

Good! You SHOULD have no hangups about being nude. As was once said in a TV commercial I film back in 2002..."the human body is the most beautiful work of art." The commercial was for a scar-reduction cream called Maderma. I sat on a turning pedestal with one bent leg under my buttocks and the other bent before my private parts. I stood so still, one would have thought I was a statue. But, when I tilted my head upwards, they realized it was no nude statue of a nude model...but the real thing. Today, I am a 42-yer-old actor and model and will still pose nude for the still camera...but for the movie camera, it would have to be for the right price. As for being "no oil painting"...why not get a better artist and let him/her paint you in a better light? You might just think differently...enough to let the painting hang in the MOMA!

Hi, modelboy.

I used to say the same thing when I started modeling when I was fifteen. Then I said to myself "Do I really have the kind of body to do that?" Another thing that started gnawing at my mind was the fact that, to that day, the only woman who had ever seen me nude was my mother. So, when I turned eighteen and started to go to college (as well as living with my girlfriend), I came in on my girlfriend dressed only in a towel. I said "Don't be shocked. I only want your opinion." I dropped the towel and stood before her in the raw. She said that it was "not bad" and another thing "You've got a nice package. Why not show it off?" So, once I knew that SHE approved, I decided to go into an art class and pose nude for the students. The teacher wanted me to keep my modesty...so they told me to have my back facing the artists and keep a beach towel draped over my private FRONTAL parts. At that age, I was selective as to who I flashed in front of. Now, at 42, I'm more modest. I'll still pose in the nude...but only if the film is rated R!
