Many bus drivers begin driving before the passenger sits down, putting his/her safety in danger and therefore putting him/her in a risk of getting injured. This is as a result of the bus driver putting punctuality at a higher prior than the passengers' safety. Many people say that passengers are at their own fault if they fall, but passengers generally don't hold on to the rails on their way to a seat because it would slow them down to their way to a seat. There has been passengers all around the world falling down and getting injuries up to very severe due to a bus driver's choice of driving before the passenger sits down. Some justify that bus driver's action additionally by comparing the possibility of falling down in the bus as a result of the bus driver having driven before the passenger sits down to somebody walking falling down or to an airplane falling down. However, the passenger getting injured in the bus while walking to a seat is a preventable incident. Therefore, why not prevent it if preventable. If a bus driver drives buses for 50 years and always starts driving before a passenger sits down, probably 8-10 will have fallen down in that bus which that bus driver drives by the time that bus driver would have retired and out of those 8-10 people who would have fallen down, probably at least 1 would have had a severe injury. Why put yourself at risk of getting in big trouble eventually. It's not worth the passengers' absence of safety to get the end of route on time and it's not worth putting yourself in huge risk of getting in trouble in a long run due to a nasty habit which could have rather been prevented by thinking smart and putting safety on the top priority. Waiting always or usually 5 seconds due to a sign posted telling them to take a seat quick but not in a rush mode will not put the bus in much of a risk arriving late. It wastes less time than the red lights do. Well, answer these questions and we'll find out how immature the world is.
