Resident Evil 5 - The Top #10 Ways To Annoy Other Players (online)

Jennifer Here! My God! The Fear! What has been posted up this time? Well I'll tell you! It's the top #10 ways to annoy other players on Resident Evil 5. Evil stuff right here that's not meant for the occasional serious player. Here's how it works: Please rate from 1 to 5 on how effective you think the annoying tactic is; 1 beling the lowest, 5 being the highest. In order to do this poll you have to have played Resident Evil 5 online before. Nothing was held back when writting any of these stragedies. - And Remember, Jennifer Will Return! :)
Rank #10. “Requires Download Content: Join A Slayers Game. Choose Any Character, But Don’t Click Ready Until There Are 4 Players Accountable For The Round. (If The Host Kicks You Out For Stalling The Match Then You’ll Have To Join Another Game.) When The Round Finally Begins With 3 Players Plus Yourself Present, DON’T Kill Any Enemies! Instead, Go After Players (Or A Specific Player To Your Liking), And Only Attack Them. Treat Slayers As If It Was A Survivors Game For The Entire Round.” – A tactic that’s actually quite common for Resident Evil 5’s Versus Mode. You do not need to win the match for this annoying tactic to be a success, just because the idea of getting attacked by other players is enough to get under anyone’s skin. For doing this you have a small chance of receiving hatemail. The tactic fails if all enemies on the stage are killed and the other players decide to team up & only try to kill you. This is because there’s no more pressure for them when having a buddy at their side, so be careful who you strike or it could backfire in a major way! Please Rate!

Rank #9. “The Infamous ‘I AM A LEGEND’ Prank That Requires Download Content: On The Mercenaries Reunion, Join Someone’s Game And Play As Josh. Find Your Partner, Taunt, Then Blow Them AND Yourself Up With A Rocket Launcher. Quickly Disconnect Yourself From The Host While It’s Showing The ‘You Died’ Screen, Then Send A Message To The Host’s Inbox Titled ‘I AM A LEGEND’” – Ever heard of people getting Rick Ruded or Punked? That’s basically what this one is. Do this objective and you’ll be punking somebody out in Resident Evil 5. Despite lacking anger from the Annoyed this still holds high qualities for an annoyance level. The tactic will fail if your Rocket Launcher doesn’t blow both you and your partner up, so make sure you have a clear shot. It's easier to do it by standing side-by-sode & amining it on the ground. Surprisingly, the chance of hatemail is almost 0 due to the “I Am A Legend” Taunt making it look like a comedy. Please Rate!

Rank #8. “Play Chapter 3-2 As Host Or Guest. At The Beginning Of The Level There Is A Raft That One Must Ride, While The Other Must Spin The Lever. Make Your Partner Ride The Raft, And Give Yourself The Job Of Turning The Lever. Upon Doing So, Turn It Enough So That Your Partner Is Half-Way Out On The Raft. Then SEIZE Turning It, But Not Letting Go Of The Lever. Your Partner Will Be Forced To Dodge Crocodiles Until They Are Finally Eaten!” – This is a very mean thing to do to other players because it forces the Annoyed to take a death. Unless the Annoyed has fast fingers they won’t be able to press start and quit in time before they get eaten, so the Annoyer’s chance of success is extremely high on this one. Please Rate!

Rank #7. “Use Sheva, Play Chapter 3-1 As The Host. At The Village Part Of The Level There Is A Drawbridge That Needs To Be Set Up By Someone Turning The Handle. Have Your Partner Turn The Handle. Cross The Bridge, Then Go To The Locked Door But DON’T Unlock It. Instead, Use The ‘Come On’ Command. Afterwards, Continuously Spam With That ‘Come On’ Command Until Your Partner Disconnects.” – A funny way to annoy others, especially if the partner you team up with is inexperienced at the game. This won’t be making you any friends. (Then again, none of these ways to annoy others really will.) You can do this using Chris, but it’s better to use Sheva because her ‘Come On’ command has funnier qualities when the way she says it.

Rank #6. “Play The Mercenaries Or The Mercenaries Reunion. You Can Be Host Or Guest, It Doesn’t Matter. Pick Any Character. When The Round Begins, Go Find Your Partner & Stay With Them. Don’t Bother Killing Any Enemies Along The Way; Just Go To Your Partner’s Location. Once There You Stay With Them The Entire Round. Wherever They Go You Follow. Now Here’s What You’re Really Supposed To Do To Annoy: Anytime Your Partner Tries To Kill An Enemy You Take It From Them By Gunshot (No Melee). Steal Any Kills That Your Partner Attempts To Get. Lastly, If Your Partner Goes In The ‘HELP’ Status Don’t Help Even If Your Partner Requests It. It’s Optional To Choose If You Want To Save Them From The ‘DYING’ Status Or Not.” – If your partner turns out to be a person who really loves finishing off enemies by Meleeing then this will really piss them off. If the Annoyed is playing as the Host then they’re likely to end the session after a bit of time has passed. If that happens then the tactic will still be a success! Chance of receiving hatemail is almost 0, but doing this won’t be making you any friends.

Rank #5. “Join Someone’s Game in Story Mode, But Don’t Equip Any Weapons. Have All 9 Slots Empty When You Start The Mission.” – The Host doesn’t want to take the time to baby-sit someone, nor should they have to. When they begin a game they fully expect their partner to back them up in tough situations. They also want someone who can defend themselves. Going in without a weapon is also an insult, as in “Look! That person is getting gold & treasure without even doing anything! Why should I have to share my winnings with that slacker!?” Most likely the Annoyer will get removed from the succession once the Annoyed begin asking themselves this question, which won’t take long. Bonus points are awarded if the Annoyer begins the mission with less than half HP.

Rank #4. “Join Someone’s Game In The Mercenaries While Using Chris (Safari). Make Sure The Host Picks A Stage That Has Incendiary Grenades. When The Game Begins, Go Over & Pick Up The Incendiary Grenades Placed On The Stage. Once They’re Collected Go Find Your Partner. Throw An Incendiary At Them, Then Immediately Switch To Your Rocket Launcher. Fire It, And Put Your Partner In Dying. Throw Another Incendiary At Them To Finish Them Off.” – If the Ship Deck stage is chosen then you can do this by playing as Sheva (Tribal) as well since she starts off with Incendiary Grenades. The only difference is that you’d be collecting a Rocket Launcher instead. One more thing, an Annoyer can also do this as Host too, but they'll only receive half value for it. This is because it's originally an idea of joining somebody elses game and messing it up. That's where the true points rack in.

Rank #3. “This One Requires Download Content: Play Versus And Use Wesker While Going On A Team With Someone. (It Can Be Slayers Or Survivors, It Doesn’t Matter. Any Wesker Will Do.) When The Match Starts, Use Your ‘Thanks’ Command. Wesker Should Be Saying ‘It was in your best interest to assist me!’. Once He Is Finished Talking, Press It Again, And Repeat This Step For The Entire Battle!” – Not only will this annoy the opponents you go against but it will also annoy your partner too! By the end of the match it won’t be just Majinis who will want your head… if you get my drift. The annoyance is only a success if you don’t get killed by any players, so be careful! You can play on the Missile Area stage and run into the fire when players start to attack you. That’ll prevent any attackers from getting a kill on you.

Rank #2. “Join Someone’s Game In Story Mode. The Requirements Is That They Need To Have It On Normal Or Veteran Difficulty, And You Need Fast Enough Fingers To Switch Ammo. Bring A Grenade Launcher Filled With Electric Rounds, Flame Rounds, And A Rocket Launcher. When The Mission Begins (Or Continues, Depending On Where The Host Left Off At) Play As If It Was A Normal Game. When An Enemy Finally Appears You Fire An Electric Round At Your Partner Instead Of The Enemy. Then Take Out Your Rocket Launcher While They’re In Stun-time, And Blow Your Partner Away. Then Quickly Switch Your Electric Rounds For Your Flame Rounds, And Finish Off Your Partner By Proving Your Heat Is Too Much For Them, aka: Set Them Ablaze! Finally, Disconnect Yourself While The Death Animation Is Still Going On.” – This is a classic way to annoy someone, especially if the Host was trying to earn an “S” Rank for the mission. The chance of hatemail is like 30%. Be warned though that this tactic is not always successful. Super greedy hosts will disconnect you so they can get free Flame Rounds out of ya, but that’s really the only chance of failure. You can increase chance of success by replacing Electric Rounds with a common handgun (as a deception), and a First Aid Spray (another deception), all if your accuracy is percise with a Rocket Launcher. But the Flame Rounds is required for the "Burning Death Animation" in order to receive an Annoyer's true value. An enemy isn't needed, but is the ultimate tool of deception since it's the only time your partner will stand still for you to take the shot, and afterwards they're still asking themselves "What the heck just happened?" Can only be done on Normal or Veteran, because on Amateur damage taken is reduced so they can disconnect you in time, and on Professional they die too fast for you to get the Burning Death Animation in.

Rank #1. “It Requires Download Content: Host A Game In Either Versus – Slayers Or Versus – Survivors. The More People That Join Your Game The More Annoying Points You’ll Receive. When The Round Begins Proceed By Getting All Timers On The Stage. Once The Clock Is At It’s Fullest You Start Playing As If It Was A Normal Game. When The Round Is Half-Over, You Start Playing So Bad To Point Where It’s Impossible To Win, But Always Make It Look Like You’re Trying Even If It’s Just An Act. Then On The Last 10 To 30 Seconds Disconnect Yourself From The Game. Because You Are The Host It Will Also Cause Everyone Else To Disconnect, Completely Canceling The Round, And Preventing Anyone From Officially Getting A Win.” – This stunt is going to give the Annoyer hatemail when it’s finished. It is highly advisable that you do not pull off this stunt because it’s a quick way to lose friends, and is probably the most insulting thing a Host can do to a person who’s joined their game. You may find yourself playing Resident Evil 5 alone if you do this too much.

Have you ever done any of these annoying tactics to another player before?
Yes I have. And it's fun doing it too.
Yes, but not on purpose.
No, but I probably will now after seeing this poll. Muhahahahah!
No, and I never will. It isn't fair to treat others like this.
Not really sure to be honest. Can't remember.
Have you ever been a victim to one of these annoying tactics?
More than once, and I hated it.
Yes I have.
Yes, but I don't think the Annoyer meant to do it on purpose.
I've purposely done it other people, but no one's been able to hit me with one yet.
No. Whenever something is out of the ordinary with my partner I'm always quick enough to disconnect.
Never. Every game I've been in has been clean so far.
There are ways to counter these annoying tactics if you ever get stuck on the "Annoyed" end. They're posted up in the "Messages" of this poll.
Thanks, I'll be sure to view them.
No thanks, I have my own ways of preventing myself from being on that end.
