Matt Giraud of American Idol's Season 8

On a another poll [American Idol (Season 8) Post-Show Fan Poll - http://www.misterpoll.com/polls/444997], Matt Giraud has been voted to date the most underrated, under-appreciated Idol with 33% of the vote. He was also chosen the person whose single fans would most likely purchase if they couldn't purchase one from their top 3 favorites. When asked who people feel more positive about since the show ended, Matt has received the second highest amount of votes. I think it's a great idea and perfect choice for Matt!
I think it's a good stepping stone for Matt, and it should help him to keep getting exposure.
My only concern is that the spotlight could be taken away from Matt - someone could come on the show and wow people, and now all of a sudden Matt's out of the picture.
I'm not wild about the idea - too many former Idols have settled for gigs like this and were never musically heard from again.
I don't like it. How can Matt help others musically when he still needs so much help himself?

I think he's a nice guy, and one of the funniest artists out there these days.

Yes because people are so wrapped up in the popularity of Adam that Matt often gets overlooked.
