Hey JB...good to hear you found him. Hope you hear from him. Now that you have reminded me, I do recall him. Anything new now with you?

Yes, retirement has proven to be good. Enjoy volunteering & feel as if I can make a community contribution still & at my pace now. Opportunity to travel feels good too. The trip was relaxing & my wife & I had a good time.

Hey Rick,

Glad to hear that you are settling into your retirement lifestyle well and that you and your wife are enjoying the new surroundings. My parents live in a similar area although it's not really a retirement community. There are a lot of people in their neighborhood who bought houses there after retiring just as they did. I am sure it is quite nice to have the flexibility in your schedule and lifestyle to go do whatever whenever. It also gives you more time to be Granddaddy if you have grandchildren in the mix.

As for Jamie (J), I have noticed that he has not responded to my post. It bothers me a bit but at the same time if he doesn't want to talk with me I can't make him. I will let you know if I hear from him, but I don't really expect to.

Not much new with me, except that I have taken some steps to get my health under control. After a pretty serious pain episode last month I finally went to a doctor to get my pain under control and then started seeing a chiropractor to fix the subluxation or misalignment problems in my back and hips that were the cause of my extreme pain. I feel a world of difference in my level of discomfort but I also know it's going to take some time to get everything back in the right places. Past that, not much new going on except that I resumed work with the scoring company last month so I have more regular income. Adjusting to the new schedule is always interesting. I am still on board with Uber and Lyft although I have not driven for them since starting back to work. With the stuff going on with my physically I have been so tired every day I don't want to do anything else but veg when I get home. That will change, though, as my physical condition improves. I hope to drive again after we switch the new project at the end of March.

I know you wrote on the 19th, but because MP does alert me to messages in other forums, I did not find it until today. Great to hear from you, though. Keep in touch!

Yes, I've settled in well to the retirement life. Volunteering and giving to the community is a good feeling and I never thought retirement was intended to sit in a rocker and idol away time. That I feel ages you more than birthdays. All can be at my pace too & when I need/'want time away, it's an option.

Hope you make good progress getting your back under control.
