feature - Keep me logged in?

I really wish there was a button to keep me logged in on my computer. You know, like a checkbox under the username and password form.

I got logged out while editing a poll and it wouldn't let me save, so this would prevent that.

At least I assume that's what happened, the error message wasn't clear, just stating that there was an error in saving.

More descriptive error messages would be helpful also.

Thank you, it's nice to have a website that listens.

Sorry you had trouble there. Yes, an option like that would be helpful. I already have that on the upgrade list. An in-place login would be nice as well, so you don't have to leave the page you're currently on in order to login. That way, if you did get logged out, you wouldn't lose your work. At least in theory.

I guess that'd work too. I got around it and was able to save my work luckily. The reason I was logged in for so long was that my poll has lot's of options, and the more you add the slower it gets. Which might be worth fixing, but not if it was just limiting the number you could add, because I really like the flexibility of this site compared to others.

Which part was slower as you added options? Everything?

The browser just seemed to freeze for a couple minutes when you added options.

Sometimes I would add one, then maybe have time to add one more, then the browser would completely freeze.

It was perfect into the hundreds, but near 200 it was pretty bad, and the more that I added, the longer it would freeze.

Happens in both IE and firefox, and they give a not responding message until it finishes doing whatever it's doing.

So I'd add one, then wait, then it'd be fine until you hit add again and it would freeze a few seconds after it adds it to the list.

That's the best I can explain it, hope it helps.
