Downloading the Results.

Ok, Firstly: Is there a way we can tell WHO is taking our polls when dowloading the results?

Secondly, How do you download results into Excel?

Thanks a dozen, Blackninja133

Have you read this help?

http://www.misterpoll.com/help/download_results.html

It has a pretty detailed explanation of using the downloaded results in Excel or another spreadsheet program.

Voting is anonymous, so you can't tell who voted in your poll unless you add your own question(s) asking for some kind of identifying information.

I don't expect you to know this, but does "another spreadsheet program" include Microsft Works, Version 8.5?

I suppose it doesn't, since it doesn't seem to have AutoFilter, or whatever it's called.

Thanks anyway, but I've chosen just to ignorge the problem... and download results the old fashioned way.

I don't have Microsoft Works, so I can't test that. However, I would think that the .csv file should at least load into the Works spreadsheet program. It may not have the filtering features of Excel, but you should be able to at least view the results. If for some reason you can't even get the file to load for viewing, try loading it into Google Spreadsheets:

It's free, and I know it will load the files. I'm not familiar with the filtering / sorting features it offers though.

So what is "the old fashioned way"? Just look at the file in Notepad?

Yep.
