Knee high is not exactly what I meant. I was talking more of athletic socks that come to about mid ankle high with the coloured stripes. These look the best to me.

I wear shorts most of the time. I haven't tried school shorts with grey socks and black shoes, but I agree most athletic young guys look better in shorts with sneakers and white socks. Some people may disagree, but this looks just as smart a school shorts

At school most boys get it often. Normally with a cane and 3 to 6 strokes. Nobody really cares about this as we all get it anyway. Being Spanked at home is different and much more embarresing for most guys. I don't mind too much though, because I can forget quickly and it's my own fault anyway. When it's going to happen I have asked for the wooden paddle, because the belt leaves red marks on the back of my legs if I am wearing shorts at the time. I still feel that I have had a good spanking anyway.

Our school knee high socks were actually wollen and quite thick so it was quite sweaty and uncomfortable in hot weather. Ankle socks are quite fashionable now and practical. We were not allowed to wear these at school, but it would have helped I think.

I was thinking more of the "tennis style" socks to replace knee high socks. Knee high socks don't help in hot weather, you may as well wear long pants with short socks.
