your mom,
How the hell can you say running isn't a sport? Running is two sports, trackand field, and cross country. It takes athletic training to get better, being athletic helps, you compete, xc takes teamwork and track(though there are individual sports so don't matter). Explain to me why it isn't one, or anyone who dares for that matter. I am sick and tired of people saying everyone who does xc is gay/faggot/loser, or that xc isn't a real sport, or that xc isn't even a sport, or that xc doesn't take skill.
very few high school runners and probably no sophtomores so atleast 10%of you are $%!@ing liars.
girls better at long distance
boys are faster than girls at long distance but no as much faster than at sprints because boys more muscle and girls closer(comparitively) at longer distance than short
xc better
I love running too but the only thing i don't like about it is idea of running around a track. you have to get in the inside but not fall behind everyone cause hard to pass people but at same time not to fast because then youll die. That is one of the many reasons cross country is better than track
blisters
it also could lead to blisters and injuries; but i could see doing it ocasionally at races
