My name is Alexandra and I am a guy. Should I change it or not?

I voted that you should keep your name Alexandra, but go by Alex. What I mean is day to day just use Alex as a nn, but keep Alexandra as your formal name. It's def unusual for a guy but so what, that's what makes it unique. I think it's cool when guys have unisex names or even girls names. Alexandra is one of my favourite names for a girl (and I like it for a guy too now :-) ) It's not like you use the full name all the time anyway unless you want to. Yeah maybe when you get married or on job applications but all the other times you will use Alex anyway and so it's no big deal. Your mom probably had good reasons for wanting to use that name and you've had it this long so I think you should stick with it and respect her wishes to. Don't worry about it and anyone who teases you is just stupid anyway.
