It ended somewhat rockily, years ago. My sister became overwhelmed by feelings of guilt, and for a while we continued our relationship, struggling with our feelings for each other versus the obvious condemnation of society. Eventually she asked me to leave town (so we wouldn't be tempted to give in despite our resolve to end it) which I did. While I was gone, she married. It was sad, but we still have a very good, "conventional" sibling relationship today, and are quite close.

Sibs involved with each other aren't that rare

Although I think that the poll results on MisterPoll are unscientific and very skewed, they are still interesting. (The results are not random and only the people who want to participate do so, and I think a lot of the respondents are lying.) Nevertheless, there are more brothers and sisters who have been involved in an intimate relationship than one would think. Here on MisterPoll we seem to get quite a few people who are just acting out a pruient interest, and I guess they would say pretty much anything, but we also get a few who are the real deal. I have found that I tend to believe those people who are kinder, more intelligent and well-spoken and who have a bittersweet nostalgia more than the "Send pics!" crowd. They're idiots

As far as the "EEeewww! That's sick!" response, all I can say is strange things happen to regular people and there ain't no accounting for LOVE. Some people fall for people that maybe they shouldn't, but "love is blind."

I don't have a stepsister, but if I did and we cared a lot about each other and wanted an intimate relationship, I wouldn't not do it. It IS incest, legally, but as long as we took precautions and didn't get caught, what happens between us is just between us. It would be nobody's business but our own.

After the first one that I sent anonymously, she knew who the sender was because of the context of some of the things I mentioned in the letter. She asked me "Did you send this to me? Are you serious or is this some kind of joke, because if it's a joke it's not funny." I told her "No, it's not a joke, I think I'm in love with you, different than just loving you as a sister." We talked about it, and she handled it pretty well. We even "dated" some.

Dummy

Hoboman, you are an IDIOT. "Send me some pics." You have got to be kidding.
