========== In Reply To ========== First and foremost, any person who wants to blame video games for the behavior of teenagers in modern society is insane, or trying to make up an excuse for poor parenting. Secondly, video games do not make people violent. The only thing video games could possibly do would be to trigger a relaspe from the gamer's own life to make them violent. And, if that is the case, the violence was already in the troubled child and the parent should be paying for attention to the child than the video game. Third, there is never something so easy to put a blame on or reason on a child or teenager avting violent. Finally, it doesn't really matter because video game co.'s are going to make video games where millions of people are just waiting to buy them.
I think that games can cause violence, but only if yu play them too much or get into them too much. I've played many a violent game and watched my brother play GTA3(I'm not allowed to play it because of it's violence, prostitutes, etc.), but listen to this:We are going to dissect worms this February in Science, and I don't want to participate because I can't imagine cutting open an animal with a scalpel. Call me weird, but I will not do it. I've played GTA2, Halo, Goldeneye, lots of James Bond games, Turok 2, etc.

How can someone say that GTA3 has a better Sniper Rifle??? GTA3's sniper rifle sucks $%!@, Halo's sniper rifle kicks $%!@. Halo's graphics beat GTA3's graphics easily. Also, Halo's single player mode on legendary is MUCH harder than GTA3. Finally, HOW CAN PEOPLE SAY GTA3 HAS BETTER MULTIPLAYER IF IT DOESN"T HAVE MULTIPLAYER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG, there are too many PS2 fanboys here.
Not to PS2 fanboys: Stop being such fanboys and look at the facts. Halo beats GTA3 in every way, except for one thing, and that thing is how much violence GTA3 has. This game will probably produce at least a dozen criminals, due to its blatant violence. Don't get me wrong, It's one of my favorite games, but it just doesn't compare to Halo.

You, dmx, are uninformed. I have used both PCs and Macs, and PCs SSSSUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKK!!!!!!! You, my good sir, should try out a Mac OS 10.2, aka Jaguar. It is so good, that you can command it by talking to it!!! That's right, you can make it quit applications, go to certain websites, go forward, go backward, etc. Besides, Microsoft makes Pcs, and Microsoft just bought Rare, who made Goldeneye and Perfect Dark. Microsoft sucks, so why buy a PC?
