Yes, there are parables in the Bible...These are not riddles however!
Lets look at the issues you brought up, and compare them to the Bible....You decide if its a riddle or not!

1) Some think that the Sabbath Day is Sunday. Some think it's Saturday.
Exodus 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Anyone with much knowledge knows that the Jewish Sabbath day is the seventh day of the week...Saturday!

2) Some think that there is a literal burning Hell. Others prefer the idea that Hell is a place of separation from God.
Luke 16:23-24 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
Now, this is just one of many passages I could have quoted! How else would you interpret this?

3) Some think that you can be saved on faith alone. Some think that faith without works is dead.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
What does "Not of Works" mean?

4) Some think that Jesus was God. Some think that He was the Son of God (I am not my father, obviously).
John 10:30 I and my Father are one.
Again, one of many passages saying that Jesus and the Father are the same!

5) Some think that the entire Bible is true, and without error. Others think that you have to interpret Scripture carefully, instead of taking it all literally.
II Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
The message of Christ is SIMPLE! Why would you try and interpret all these areas of scripture? Wouldn't it make more sense to just do what God says to do?

Not everyone that claims to be Christian agrees with the Bible...If you don't believe the Bible, then what do you base your Christianity on? What source other than the Bible do you learn of Jesus Christ?

How is it not clear not only do we have the thief on the cross, we also have the begger going to Heaven and the rich man going to Hell in Luke 16:19-31

How are these two examples Straight from the Bible not clear?

God didn't have the Bible written in riddles. We just need to read it and take it at face value!

Remember the thief on the cross next to Jesus?
Jesus told him he would be there with Him that very day!

Luke 23:42-43
And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Baptists are NOT Protestants!

Protestants are denominations that at some point PROTESTED against the Catholic Church, and broke off.

Baptists have never been part of the Catholic Chuch, at any time in history!

I am a christian!

I did the best I could answering the poll, but most of the time, the answer I would have chosen wasn't supplied!

Let me give a few examples:
I don't really care to discuss "religion". What religion you are has no effect on whether you will go to heaven! The only thing that matters, is if you know Jesus Christ!

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him; I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man commeth unto the father but by me.
No one can go to heaven unless they go through Jesus Christ.

Finally, atheists are sinners! Christians are sinners saved by grace!
The Bible tells us over and over that we are all sinners. I am no better than an atheist!
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
