no, it is not a set of fables. the bible is the inspired word of God. He simply told different men EXACTLY what to say. (fyi, i disagree that because cultures change over time so does the bible. the bible does NOT change)

To Mod, the books of the bible are not expected to contradict each other just because they were written by different men over thousands of years. the reason they seem to contradict is because most people either take sections out of the actual context or they take things 2 literally.

to those people who say it is a waste of time, why did you vote in this one? in fact, why are you even on this website?

im not sure which Bible you are looking at but mine says that homosexuality is to be condemned. one such passage is 1 Corinthians 6:9 "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the SEXUALLY IMMORAL nor idolaters nor ADULTERERS nor MALE PROSITITUES nor HOMOSEXUAL OFFENDERS... will inherit the kingdom of God." Also, in 1 Corinthians 7:2 it says, "...each man should have his own WIFE, and each WOMAN her own HUSBAND." Finally, as a last point, Leviticus 19:22 says, "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable." Just a little background so you cannot twist those words in any way, God was speaking to Moses, a man. He was NOT talking to a woman and telling her to sleep with another woman.

i agree with beach bum. im not going to willingly move in next to a butt-ugly guy, but if its a decent or better lookin chick i might consider it a little longer.
