I Agree

One of my friends used to be a trucker and he quit for alot of the same reasons. If there were to be a trucker's strike in the U.S., I'd fully support it.

There was another poll right before this one called "Which is the worst US city?".

In this poll Jacksonville is tied with Cleveland as the big loser and in the previous poll Tampa was the big loser.

I loved going to Florida on vacation so a couple of years ago I moved to Florida. Living in Florida just isn't the same as being there on vacation, so I moved back to the Northeast.

I've been to both Tampa and Jacksonville. Tampa has Ybor City and Busch Gardens going for it, but that's about it. If you're looking for a nice place to live, go across the bay or go to Sarasota or Bradenton instead.

I can see why Jacksonville is the big loser. It does have Jacksonville Beach, but why go there when you have the much nicer Saint Augustine and Daytona Beaches nearby? The Jacksonville Landing seems to be their largest tourist attraction, but if you've seen a pedestrian mall in any other American city, you've already seen the Jacksonville Landing.

Other than Jacksonville Landing and San Marco, which is the city's historic district, Jacksonville is an absolute eyesore! Jacksonville is probably one of the most ugly places I've ever seen and the people there are rude and nasty.

but I'll admit that it does feel really good! It's like licking a Sonoran Frog to get high, because what was the first person to ever try these things thinking??
