Okay, I picked one for each year but it was almost impossible. For most years there were at least one or two others every bit as good as the one I ended up picking, almost at random from my favorites. There were a few others not listed that would have been in the running for some years, too.

I'm already feeling guilty about some of the ones I didn't vote for! :(

I voted anime but Disney's got some great stuff too. Anime has Castle In The Sky, Haibane Renmei, Millennium Actress, Whisper Of The Heart, RahXephon, Blood: The Last Vampire, Princess Mononoke, Kiki's Delivery Service.... Disney's got Lilo & Stitch, Dumbo, Cinderella, Bambi, Beauty And The Beast.... So Anime's more diverse for sure, and it's got hundreds of great animated titles, whereas Disney's got - what? 20, 30? But I'm really glad we've got both Anime and Disney (and if you include in that Disney-STYLE animation from other studios their number goes up quite a bit)

What about a few from bands that the general public isn't as familiar with, at least here in North America? Like Nightwish, King Diamond, Rage, Blind Guardian, Within Temptation, Orphanage, etc? I don't know if enough people would know their stuff to giver them any chance in the voting, but it would be interesting to find out.

It's like choosing between air, food, water, and, um, movies. Or music. Or cute cuddly little animals. Or something else really cool. :)

Sorry, Voldemrt, you'd put up a good fight, but this is The Dark Lord we're talking about here.
