It wasn't uncommon up to the 50s and certainly in the 60s and early 70s. The YMCA were all naked in the pools into the 70s, when they went co-ed.
Here, on the west coast, the YMCAs had a nude only swim rule into the 70s. I learned to swim at the Y in all naked clases. Of course then the YMCA only allowed males. I went to Y summer camps and swimming nude was mandatory. In the Boy Scouts it was encouraged but not mandatory. Of course this was before EVERYTHING became sexualized and fearful.
it is ridiculous for boys, men, any males to wear suits.
I always slept with my Dad. All the way through high school until I went away to college. When I'd come and summers we would share a bed, too. When I visit we share a bed.
I haven't worn anything to bed, ever, since I grew out of diapers.
I agree. I've had good healthy relationships with women.
But I've also had fun sex with my brothers, my dad, my grandfather and a couple of uncles and cousins.
Sex with women is one critter, sex with men is a whole other animal. Sweatier and more athletic and fun.
All of the sex I've had with family members has been after I was 20. Of course nakedness for us males was always required.
