- An Evil Politician Poll

proud confederate, You're a very lively debater. I think you're mostly right about Nixon, too. He did quite a few things wrong, but I don't remember ever hearing that he "ordered" Watergate. The reason I included him was mostly due to his McCarthyism and his cover-up.
Andrew Jackson was a very good President, in my opinion. His policy with the natives could have used some reworking, but he was more responsible for bringing democracy to the people than any other figure in America. His ideology was almost as distant from the Nazis as it could possibly have been. Also, I'm a Jackson homer because I'm related to him.
That's right, he can't be evil... eheheh... please don't shoot me...
proud confederate, I can see your concerns that Calhoun was probably not the most evil of the 8 that I listed. But Lincoln? He was fairly authoritarian, but I fail to see how he was anywhere near as evil as Nixon, Rockwell, Burr, Long, Tweed... In fact, I'd argue that he was an overall good political figure (though the textbooks sometimes represent him in biased way).
I finished the poll. Huzzah.
