I have heard some people say that California is taking more than its fair share of water resources, such as from the Colorado River.

Also, that Gov. Schwarzenegger's administration is not doing enough to trim 'excess fat' from the budget, and as a result, we are throwing away finances that could be used to clean and distribute the water we do get, which goes to waste.

Anyone agree with me on this? Any thoughts? I take issue with the fact that I'm paying taxes to help preserve our most precious natural resource, but not enough good is being done to help the situation. We can start by not building so many prisons. We seem to be a punishment-based society, and studies have shown that it costs less to rehabilitate a person than locking them up.

Hi, it's me again. I didn't mean to start any trouble.

The main point of this poll is stated in the introduction. It is designed to get you to think about who or what has control over you--your body, your decisions, your feelings, etc.

It seems that we live in an age today where we are being pulled in a dozen different directions, with many people and things clamoring for our constant attention. I just wanted you to see that you are ultimately responsible for you.

I don't want to promote anarchism, and I'm sorry if I offended anyone. (In my post, I was merely asking a question for "Totoro", and it seemed to have gotten rolling.) Planet Anarcny is my username just cause I think it fits in with changing the world.

Toodle-oo!

For Totoro: Question: In your opinion, what exactly is Anarchy? Is it: A. A belief in the total abscence of law and order as we know it, and every person for themselves (and wouldn't that just lead to complete chaos?), or... B. A belief in the abscence or change of all government systems that mankind knows of today, in favor of something new not thought of yet (or that hasn't been 'allowed' to exist).

I put that last line in there not to 'be mean', but simply as another choice. I believe there are still people today who feel like that. They're called Republicans!

PS: Go, Hillary! Yay...Clinton, '08!

Start with yourself!

Remember what Mahatma Ghandi said: "You must be the change you wish to see in the world."
