========== In Reply To ========== I really don't give a $%!@ about any of his stupid scandals, I'm fed up with both partys, all I know is I wanted and needed that $400, I only have two pairs of pants, and were living with my grandparents, I NEEDED that money, and my mom called the IRS, they said she didn't qualify, that she doesnt make enough money, huh, thats funny, I thought that $400 was supposed to be given to all familys with kids despite whatever source of income the family made. My friends mom and dad make a total of 80,000 each year,he didn't even need the money, but him and his sister got $400, my other friend doesn't get it cause his mom owns her own florist shop. Why does the money go to the people that don't need it? I was looking forward to it, only to be let down, I could have bought: 5 pairs of pants,to have one pair for each day of the week. 2 X-Box games. thats just the stuff I wanted, I would have had $250 left and could have used that to buy people stuff for Christmas.I'm just confused about why the rich get money, and the poor don't. 14/M/MICHIGAN

Look, it's really simple, and if you put your childish notions aside. If your mother doesn't make enough money to pay taxes, then she wouldn't get any tax rebate. If you don't pay taxes, you don't get any back. That's how it works. Besides, if your mother doesn't earn that much money, it probably means shes getting EIC every year which is just another wellfare check. And let me clear up the confusion you have on why the 'rich' get the money and the poor don't, the 'rich' people go out and earn their money and don't spend it on frivilous items such as designer clothes, game systems, music. They know how to save their money for the necessities in life and have money set aside for things. When you get out into the real world, you'll understand that you have to work, and you're not going to get rich overnight, it will take years of hard work and common sense in money handling.
