When I used to get detentions that I didn't think I deserved, I used to sit there and sulk too. But then I saw other guys who pretty much laughed it off, and I realized that the punishment affected them a lot less than it affected those of us who sulked, so I started laughing it off myself.

I also decided that if I was going to get detention anyway, I would make sure that I deserved it, so a lot of the stuff that landed me in detention was fun.

The best was to get it with a group of friends. We'd hang out, do our time, and then go out afterwards for a burger and sometimes a beer.

One thing that was funny in my school was that there was one-way glass from the dean's office to the room where we served our detentions. Even if he left us alone for a couple of minutes (which he didn't do very often), we never knew if he was watching from his office. Probably not, but I never risked it. I always behaved in detention. I wish I hadn't.

So in your school, what are the things you do during detention? How many detentions do you have? My guess is that overall grades of schools aren't the greatest, but it's better than extremely strict rules.

No not those Grades, I mean like what's 6th grade or 7th Grade. Is it like Years in Brit Schools. i.e. I'm 14, so I'm in year 9. I'll list what we have to do: Writing Lines Nothing Writing out Pages of Something or other Picking up litter (Or you could go for my version, beating the crap out of everyone HA HA HA) And do you mean My Record of Detentions or the Types of Detentions. MY RECORD: It's increased A LOT, 87 The Types are: Break-Detained for 5-15 Minutes Lunch-Detained for 5-55 Minutes After School-Detained for 15-2 Hours Friday Night-Detained for 1-3 Hours Anything Else you wanna know?

No it doesn't, but it's my version of Dino Rage. No Comments/Questions. You have to search around for my Apocalypse. Oh yeah are you still in school? And I need to know somethings about American Schools; The 'Grades' as in 4th Grade or 7th Grade. WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY? I've also noticed that your Detentions are like, diffrent things from Lines, or doing something else. Whereas british Detentions are doing something instead of sitting there.
