Thanks for your lovely comments, I do have great difficulty finding boots to fit around my calves. Due to the build of my calves, they expand quite a lot when I go up on tip toes, this makes some boots that just do up when my calves are unflexed to small if the muscle flexes! I do have one pair of boots that fit though, skin tight around the calf and lots of loose leather around the ankle! Can't win them all!!
Julia.
I have added some muscle to my thighs over the past year or so, I don't do anything special to help them grow, just my cardio workouts and lots of cycling!
Hi, my b/f has average muscular legs, nowhere near the size or shape of mine though. I don't mind men who are smaller or bigger than me, but through my experiance I've not found many that are bigger! Take care, Julia.
Hi, yes, my calves are mainly genetic, I've had big calves since I was a kid. My main exercise for them, although I don't often do it, is standing calf raises, that really seems to hit them and give them a good pump. Thanks.
Hi, always nice to hear about other women who share the fact of having large calves. I also have problems fitting into boots and jeans. I only have one pair of boots that fit! and even they are skin tight, quite difficult getting the zip to the top! Good luck with your legs!
