I went to the sauna at the gym today. It is not quite like Fin;and because there is no running through the snow (some chanc) being beaten with wiss, and insrtead of breaking the ice you get a cold shower.

If it is a mixed session you have to wear swim trunks, but if it is a mens session you cn go naked, if you dare

When I first went into the steam rom there a few people there, so I kept my towel wrapped around me, but when they left I took it off and sat there naked. It was awesome, and so cool being naked almost in public. Just thinking about it got me horny, and without jerking I touched myself a bit.

When a man came in I tried to cover myself, but I wasn't quick enough and I think he saw eveything I had. I was surprised when he took off his towel as it I wasn't there, sat down and started chatting. I felt shy about taking my towel off, and I felt stupid keeping it on.

I know what you would have done, but I am not that brave

It's be stange to get snow in October but is it still 80 in winter? If you want to see a foot of fallen snow come to New York one cold winter. It isn't always like that, and summers are hot (98) and humid (100% last time I was there) And that was a bad winter.

Don't know why you are lightly beaten with birch twigs, but I think it is to get your blood moving to keep you warm enough for the cold plunge

I took a sauna a few times. Got the steam, got a cold shower, bu escaped the birch twigs. Oh yea. They told us to wear bathing costume too, Bet its better naked!

No snow?

I once read a book about some chidren in Alabam (I think) who built a snowman out of earth and mud and just covered it with snow. Could you do that? They only ever had enough snow to do that once.

I remember walking in New York one January eveining. Where the plows had been through the snow was piled high by the street, all the buses had a chain on one wheel, and when I welked through Central Park I swear te snow was at least a foot deep. (That was where it hadn't drifted) One day they even closed my college (WSUC)

If you ever get to Finland take a sauna. First you go naked in theteam room, then you run still naked through the snow being beaten LIGHTLY with birch twigs and then you break the ice as you jump in the pond. Sound like fun Sounds like a heart attacker to me. And THAT'd make you shrink!

I wanted to vote on your pool. I am a but, but without prending I was a girl, and answering the girls only questions, and answering "required" which began "if" and it did not apply.I was unable to vote.

So please edit your poll, and remove the requirement from to some of these gender an circumstance specific questions and more people will be able to tell youabout growing up in the 1960.
