I apologize about your poll permanently disappearing that last time. It was apparently mismarked during review. It is now back in the music section where it belongs.

In general, though, edited polls do disappear temporarily from the directory so that we may review the changes. This is to prevent people from creating an innocent poll that gets approved, and then editing it to be nasty.

Your poll has been categorized as an "adult" poll, which means it is only available by direct URL. You can put it on your web site, pass it around to your friends, post a link in adult message areas, etc. We don't currently show adult polls in our public directory, however.

While I did not personally review your poll, I see that it was reviewed on 2/14. It was marked as unsuitable for our public directory, presumably because it involves children and has sexual overtones.

We're working to put an email notification system in place so that poll creators are automatically notified when their polls are reviewed, but we're not quite there yet.

I realize you're holding all the cards, but it would still be nice if the management could maybe do a little more to address problems with the service as they arise. The question of fairness in the adding of polls to the directory based on the order/date of their submission certainly needs your attention.

It does appear as a "Limited Interest" poll. Search for it using the "Search" link in the sidebar. Not all polls make it into the public directory, especially if other similar polls already exist.

Thanks for pointing out this mistake. It's been corrected, so you can now select "School Life" when creating a poll.
