Exactly right, blackninja133. Thanks.

I looked up this poll, and it is indeed a private poll. That is, the poll creator never submitted it for inclusion in the Mister Poll directory or search engine. Maybe she should, since people like you are coming directly to Mister Poll to find it.

Modified polls are at the back of the line for reviews -- behind all new polls. That's why modified ones take longer than you'd expect sometimes. Still, we've been generally quite behind the last 2 weeks because one of our primary reviewer's computer burned up and died a smoky death. It's been replaced now, and I think we're caught up on both new and modified polls as of this evening.

I'm always torn on adding new categories. While in some ways it would be nice to have more targeted classifications, I don't want to end up with a bunch of categories that rarely have new polls. The last ones we added (Pets/Animals, Food, Hobbies, Current Events) are still pretty slow. I've been considering building a "tagging" system, where the community could attach keywords to polls. You see the tagging approach on a lot of sites these days, such as del.icio.us, flickr, etc. I don't know if this would replace the directory categories or just supplement them. I haven't even decided whether I'm doing tags or not, but it's a thought that might address the same issue you brought up.

I don't think I'd change it so that a forum could be completely without topics, but I have always wanted to add an alternate way of viewing that would show all messages, in date order, without regard to topics. That way, people could view it whichever way they like.

Sorry, I forgot to respond to this one. Our servers run on GMT. Perhaps you're now on summer time (daylight savings time), which may account for the 1 hour difference from your current clock.
