Thank you for pointing out that the website is not yours, but you are effectively plugging it.

As to the future, who knows what will happen, so stop worrying about it.

Ironically Islam has offered the viewpoint that God created more intelligence than just humans.

One of the clearest messages is that God sent a prophet (and often several prophets) to every community. Muslims could therefore accept "aliens" as creations of God, and quite probably ascribe a prophet or two to them.

This broad view means that Muslims might accept founders of other faiths/religions as prophets of God including Native American shamans, and the Egyptian Pharoah Akhenaten.

Good answers Cicero, and especially I would like to highlight the bit about leaving God out.

This is the basic flaw in Christianity. There is almost endless outpouring of love for what is effectively a junior God. Why is He a junior God? If He was begat by God the Creator, then how can anyone claim that Jesus was also a God?

Christians are trying to justify a tritheistic religion as a monotheistic one. It just does not make any sense because it is a mortal creation. If Jesus existed then his original "Good News" for us has become very diluted over the centuries.

This might surprise some ardent Bible lovers, but the Qur'an actually says that the flood was regional, not worldwide. As Charlie comments, the Mediterranean has overflowed at times. Thus it seems only Christians and Jews actually believe the world was flooded.

Actually xenon the day has been lengthening because the spin of the Earth is slowing down. Back in the time of the "Flood", the earth spun faster, so the days were shorter. Eventually the Earth will stop, but that maybe some gazillion years down the road :)

========== In Reply To ========== You need more choices. Thousands of years ago, a day was much less than 24 hours. The day has been lengthening due to tidal effects.
