Our indoor PE uniform is white t-shirt, shorts and bare feet. We have to wear this, and we are not allowed to wear socks or trainers - everyone has to be in bare feet. I don't mind, as I'm happy to be in bare feet, though some of my friends hate it

At my school we always have to be in bare feet in the gym. Its the rules for everyone. Some boys hate it, some love it. Even if you are not doing PE and just watching (if you have a note from home excusing you from participating) then you still have to take your shoes off before coming in the gym. I really enjoy doing PE lessons in bare feet, it just feels better.

We don't have a choice at my school - indoor PE is always done in bare feet. I don't mind though as I think its better to be in bare feet in the gym, though I know some of my friends hate it

I know quite a few people who wear slippers in the house. I have a friend who always wears slippers. He takes his shoes and socks off straight away when he gets home and puts his slippers on. All his family wear slippers, and they have "guest slippers" for other people to wear. He only lives in a small house, but it is kept clean and tidy.

After visiting him a few times, and being encouraged to wear slippers when I get over there, I've started wearing slippers in the house myself. I used to just take my shoes off indoors, but wearing slippers is warmer in winter and very comfortable. Now I do like my friend and take shoes and socks off in the house and put slippers on. And I take them with me when I visit him. I think its really cool and is better than wearing shoes indoors

It was my birthday the other day, and in addition to some cash and other bits and pieces, my parents bought me some new slippers! I now wear them all the time in the house, and take my shoes off as soon as I enter, and put my slippers on. Sometimes I take my socks off too, other times I wear my slippers with socks. They are very comfortable and keep my feet warm, and I really like them.
