Thanks for the input and explanation. I am Catholic also. I created this poll because I think it will be interesting to see how many Christians hold to a strongly sacramental view of the faith. Thanks again,

========== In Reply To ========== In the catholicfaith the 7 sacraments are our true link with Jesus Christ. The Mass and the sacraments are the very center of a Catholic's spiritual life. Baptism is the first sacrament one recieves- which imparts to the soul Santifying Grace (the very life of Christ with in you) Baptism makes one an heir of heaven. The Sacrament of Holy Communion is the one Catholics recieve most often. It is the very Body Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ with in the recipient. It increases Sanctigfying Grace with in the soul, and disposes the soul to greater virtue and strength to do the will of Jesus in life. Should a Catholic commit serious sin there is the sacrament of Confession- which (if one is sincere in one's repentence) restores us to a state of sanctifying grace. The other sacraments are Confirmation, Holy Orders, Marriage, Sacrament of Annointing-- which maybe known to many as Last Rites---an older term. I do not wish to argue with others over sacraments-- I am just explaining the Catholic view of sacraments. thanks
