First show me where teachers only work a 36 week "school" year. (school gets out June 21 and returns August 24) give or take a day) All the teachers I know have a 8 week summer during which they MUST... Attend 4-5 weeks of continuing education...
Spend 1-2 weeks preparing the next years schedule...
Arrive at School a week or ten days early to prepare their class rooms, attend faculty meetings, and have orientation etc.
If they are lucky they may have a weekend to actually take a family vacation, while the rest of us have ALL summer to enjoy ourselves.

I saw a TV show where a progun supporter sat down to discuss the "gun" problem with two women antigun advocates.
He walked in and sat a Ruger 45 on the table, He told them that according to their stats every 3.5 minutes a GUN kills someone. 25 minutes later he asked them if they thought the Ruger had killed anyone?
They looked confused by this but he explained that during their interview they claimed 7 people were shot to death by guns.
One of them said the Ruger couldnot have killed anyone because it was not loaded, He said the Ruger did not kill because guns don't know how to kill...and that the Ruger was loaded, at which point he picked the Ruger up , pointed it at a target at the back of the set and fired 6 rounds.
One of the women fainted and the other just sat there in shock as he again explained that guns dont kill...bad people do!

I did one of those studies, with a yahoo account with spam gaurd on. started with 8 spams a week for 6 weeks average! Then started to REMOVE for 6 more weeks. At the end of week 12 was getting over 50 spams a DAY!!
