Hello there Totorosan! YES! YOU nailed IT! The Myan calander just happens to end at it's 13th b'ak'tun cycle. NOT necessarily the end of the world! Hear US people? It is possible that the Myan's simply knew they would NOT live as a tribe pass this date-time-line. So their cycle just ends here. The future is NONE of the Myan's concern anymore, so their calendar just ends. We on the other hand. Well, the economy is one. Freaky weather, and raging California fires! You OK there, Totorosan?

Japan is waiting for THEIR BIG Kansai earthquake. Some home owners there are retrofitting their homes to be more earthquake proof. What I heard is that it is LOOOOoooong over-due!

I seen on TV an idea to send a rocket to an incoming asteroid/meteor, and NOT to blow it up, but to lodge itself to it, and fire rockets to stear it off-course by a few degrees. That should make it miss the earth.

Prophesies are guesses as well as ??? I really want to know how many Biblical prophesies, as well as Nostradomus, and Edgar Casey's prophesies are coming true?

You can check on-line, but a television show I was watching I THINK on "The History Channel" states that, to MY surprise! THREE calendars, one specific date.

The Myan calendar is stated as the thirteen b'ak'tun cycle, with ends in the winter soltice sun, ending a 5,126 year cycle, and reading a few stuff on-line, there were a few sites that DID include the Egyptian and Chinese calendars as well. I am a little familiar with the i-ching calendar, but to me, I do not know the significance other than it... (TAH-DAH!) ends with the winter soltice.

I PERSONALLY feel that we will NOT face the end of the world as we know it on December 23, 2012! It may be earlier than that! Or maybe later. It is a vast media and television HYPE or a government scare tactic like 9/11! See WHAT I am saying?

However, WHY I made this poll, is to see how people will react to a puzzling question. "Are you ready to die?" And WHAT is their reason or fears.

In 2006 Hawaii had 44 days of rain, clouds, and massive flooding! But NOT in Biblical proportions! The the irony was there, and a few people here DID thought that the world was gonna end. But we are still alive! Unfortunitely, seven people including a baby was swept away in a massive flood when a dam broke on one of our islands.

Makes you think.....

japanboy, uh..... I am surprised by the reaction of the little girls to you, howbeit you are an adult! I guess the big city of Tokyo is different from the small towns of Tanami-Kushimoto, and Shirahama in the Wakayama Prefecture. I visited different onsen this past summer with my parents and my girlfriend/fiancee. And most country onsen, it is open for both sexes!
We (my Gal & I) had the pleasure of being in an onsen TOGETHER out in the open, surrounded by nature. It was a weekday, and all the kids were in school, so we practically had the onsen all to our selves! We stayed in there almost until we turned into numb prunes!

When I first visited my cousin's hometown in Wakayama, I was stared at when I was 6 years old because I was circumsized. I NEVER seen anyone un-cut, so I was surprised at my cousin, who is a year younger than I. But I never stared at him! I wasn't "handled "either, thank goodness! Or there would had been trouble!

Uh..... duh..... my mind is a blank! I may have a lot to "say", or maybe nothing. So... SOMEONE start something!

Germany is celebrating the victory of Obama! A e-friend there stated that Bush promished them something, and of course, he did NOT deliver. And the Germans attending his speech there was so amazed by this young "black/white man" from Hawaii. And now they had celebrated his victory, as well as the TWO Obama prefectures in JAPAN! SO! "Obama" is BOTH Japanese as well as African! Just like "hana" means "flower" in Japanese, and "nose" in Hawaiian.
