Besides, unless her husband has been proven to be abusive in the past, it goes without saying he has the legal right to look after her in this state.

Say, you aren't comatose yourself by any chance, are you?

Yet another warm and fuzzy message from the open minded liberal.

I wonder is Free Your Mind realizes they are one giant contradiction of themself.

James, I put my reply in form of my Saving Terri website but apparently it was taken off of this message board. Since, there is so much involved in why I support Terri's family's efforts to save her life, I hope this time it stays up. http://journals.aol.com/shjusticeforall/SavingTerriSchiavo/

Say, you aren't comatose yourself by any chance, are you?Several doctors have stated that Terri Schiavo is in a persistant vegetative state(PVS). 60 % more doctors say that she is not in PVS, but is severely brain damaged.

PVS has a misdiagnosis rate of 43%and when other sensory disabilities such as hearing and vision, the rate can excede 60%. Terri has visual refraction problems and sees things best that are ~16 inches from her face.

10 doctors, 2 speech pathologists have testified, given depositions or otherwise publically stated that there would be significant improvement in cognition and function with proper therapy.

Terri should have every opportunity to have the therapy so long denied her. Under both state and federal laws she has retained rights that no guardian can refuse on behalf of the ward.

Terri's right as an incapacitated person to receive "necessary services and rehabilitation" per Florida Statute 744.3215 has been violated by Schiavo's neglect to seek medical treatment and disallowance rehabilitative therapies.

Terri Schiavo has not been allowed to see her parents, or any other family member, for 35 days (to date). As a parent,I cannot believe that anyone could be so heartless as to keep a disabled child from her parents. :(
