Okay, first of all, good for you for pointing some stuff out, BUT, I have to point some mistakes out.
Islam does not encourage violence, anyone who says so of any of the semitic religions is just looking for a reason to do what they want. If you look for reasons in islam, or christianity, you can justify anything with one little quote. I mean its just that easy, you take one sentence and you make it what you want it to be. It's like poetry, everyone gets a different vibe from reading it, there is no "one perfect muslim," or one perfect person of any religion (excluding jesus (if you believe it) and prophets etc.). SO....
You beleive it or not, it's your choice. No one goes by every single rule. If you did, then you wouldn't be human would you. So, if you wanna follow a book of rules and think your going to end up in heaven, then by all means go ahead. The bottom line is... NONE OF THE 3 SEMITIC RELIGIONS ENCOURAGE VIOLENCE FOR PETTY "EARTHLY" REASONS. Only defence
