Unfortunately I do not bellieve Bush told an outright lie on this occassion. Getting that out of the way, I bellieve that he made a drastic error and caused the loss of many lives by, to quote Kelly, "sexing up intelligence." This is a dangerous time because when someone uses faith based arguments like, "we believe british intelligence sources" or "the evil one hates our freedoms" a man like Bush can rarely be proven wrong or called a liar, because the bulk of his arguments are nonfactual. Although not dishonest in his use of language, I believe haha. Ney I can say unequivocally Bush is a more manipulative and less qualified president than Clinton.
Boycotting product consumers of conservatve talk radio does not suggest censor of individual conservative pundits. Much of the money that supports conservative talk radio, also supports a ban of the Dixie Chicks. I am a liberal and I am not going to pretend that the Chick's are eloquent political spokes people or the best country music band solely because we agree on many issues. But to ban a popular band from radio although not absolute censorship, is a very self-righteous act. In as much as the Dixie Chicks are not plolitical analyst, I do not think Rush Limbaugh or Dennis Miller are qualified football commentators. If the Chick's are so controversial, conservatives need only to do what they do best, lie back and let the free market substitute a new flavor on the month. I do not support a ban on any individual talk radio pundits but I will support any boycotts on products that support conservative talk radio. Because it would allow for a sponsor to support my "utopian" vission for at least 1 popular liberal talkshow host.
With the exception of Lincoln and Jefferson, Marti has wrote some of the most inspirational political prose. Due to his low polling I wonder if many people haven't heard of him? Thank you for a very interesting poll.
