Spank With Love is a thinly veiled site for spanking fetishists. It is not a valid resource for those with genuine parenting questions or concerns.
All you have to do is look at the feedback section to realize that, and also look at the section about teens who want their parents to spank them. It's absolutely ridiculous to believe that this site has anything to do with genuine parenting or discipline methods. The site has everything to with pretending to be something it isn't, and IMO that is despicable.
Wow...how impressive...you must be very proud of yourself for handling the situation in such a thoughtful and intelligent way. And then to tell everyone about it...to be so proud of it...And you used a belt? Thirty times? Wow, that is something to be proud of.
It's too bad that a whipping with a belt can't make people more intelligent, or I would suggest that you take some of the same medicine you so liberally dish out to your little girls.
========= In Reply To ========== A couple of people seem to believe that I have been giving "play by play" and graphic descriptions of my daughters' spankings on this message board.I don't know where they ever got such an idea because I have not given a single one. However, I am a reasonable person and I will be more than happy to accomodate them, so here I go: My daughters quarreled with each other all day yesterday.I told them several times that I was tired of listening to their bickering and to quit it.They continued. Then yesterday evening my husband and I were watching a movie we had rented.Tina came in and said "Mom, Jessica is picking on me.Come and make her stop".I told her that she and her sister are old enough to work it out themselves and to go away so we could watch the movie.About 30 minutes later Jessica came in and said "Mom, Tina won't stop calling me names.Make her quit it".I turned off the movie, took Jessica into the living room and called in Tina.I then took off Jessica's pants, bent her over the couch and gave her 30 very hard swats with the belt. She cried.I asked, "Have I solved your problem?" Jessica said, "yes, maam".I asked, "Are you sure?I have plenty of time to continue working on it if you need me to".She said, "yes, maam.I'm sure".I said, "Ok then, go to your room until the movie is over."She went to her room. Then I took off Tina's pants, bent her over the couch and gave her 30 very hard swats with the belt. She cried.I asked, "Have I solved your problem?" Tina said, "yes, maam".I asked, "Are you sure?I have plenty of time to continue working on it if you need me to".She said, "yes, maam.I'm sure".I said, "Ok then go to your room until the movie is over".She went to her room.I went back and my husband and I watched the rest of the movie without hearing another peep from them. After the movie they did not bicker any more for the rest of the night. They are now in their beds asleep.-Marie-
I'm afraid I don't have a whole lot of sympathy with your point of view, pal, and the reasons are too many to list here.
I will take your poll on equality because that is what my poll is all about too.
Best to you, ========= In Reply To ========== hello sexism dosent just affect women and it seams social acceptable to be sexist against men ,i have done a poll on eqaulity please vote thanx

Hi Bill,
Thank you for sharing your story and it seems very unfair that you lost your job for SI'ing. Even though many people SI, it is probably a very frightening thing for people who don't. I can remember the looks on different people's faces when they saw my arms. I remember the look on a nurse's face that was so full of disgust that I wanted to die of shame. I still SI ocassionally but not nearly as much. Thank you for posting and I wish you all the good things life has to offer.
PS: This is for everyone reading the board: When my back went out I was prescribed Vicodin. I had to take it for quite a while, and in fact I still take two pills per day. After I had been on the medication for a few weeks the feelings that led me to SI eased and I did not feel the need to cut nearly as much. I am quite aware that Vicodin or the generic name Hydrocodone is a narcotic and is addictive. I am also aware that it is not prescribed for SI. I am simply sharing my personal experience with this medication. I am sure many will disagree with taking a narcotic, but I wouldn't feel right if I didn't post my experience with something that has eased my mental pain so much.
Best to all of you ========== In Reply To ========== Hi there. I used to self-injure, and in fact I got fired from my job for doing so. I worked for British Airways at the time (I'm in England). I was so upset at losing my job that I self-injured again, badly, and ended up in a psychiatric institution. I'm not sure what was worse, the psychiatric ward or British Airways!! (ha ha). Opinions varied as to whether British Airways were right to fire me for that. Some said yes, some said no. After coming out of the hospital I battled to get my life back on keel, and did quite well, although I still have a problem with self-injury. I nearly did it again a couple of weeks ago. I sympathise with all those who SI. Best wishes to all reading this message. Bill Robinson England
