I'm not white but I grew up as the minority. It's NOT FUN. I may add people who are foaming at the mouth bigots and bullies have really low self esteem. I understand why you would want to reconnect with people of your ethnicity. When I did this, it was a relief not to have to explain myself, get weird stares, have difficulty dating etc.I It's not wrong to want to spend time amongst your own people, however, If you become a supremacist, you are harming and deluding yourself. You are better than this. You may also miss out on friends, real friends, from other backgrounds that will be closer to you than family. It is natural to feel more comfortable with what we are used to. Just don't let it become your idol. Hope this helps from someone who's been there.
