I think it’s a matter of personal preference. However, in the US anyway its seems to be tabo for men to shave their legs. I am gay and like hairless guys and would like to be hairless myself. But I’m worried about social pressures. I just wish that I could do whatever I want without people thinking I’m weird.

Well, if you think that gays should live by different standards of what they can do in public than strait people there IS something wrong with you. If you don’t like to see gays make out in public, then you better set the same standard for straits, otherwise, you are a bigot. It’s as simple as that. There is no nice way to say it, what you preach is discrimination.

I agree, there is nothing wrong with wearing flip flops. I just wish it was more acceptable to go barefoot. I prefer sandals over shoes but if the weather is nice I prefer to just go barefoot.
