I am the creator of the poll and i would happen to agree with your statement. We are all individuals though present economic situation are troubling. We have the EU protecting itself and member countries, the US is large enough to fight for itself, SE Asian countries are uniting in ASEAN for the economic block. I don't want Australia to be controlled by the US. So this leave the Pacific, a mix (i am sorry to say) of island who have no real power. When united under a joint economic and environmental pact (SIGNING THE KYOTO PROTOCOL) we can play a major part in our world. Global warming will effect the Pacific more whole island will disappear. Joining will be a good thing. It is interesting to notice that most nations are creating pacts joining together unlike being divided. Soon the world will be united under more than the United Nation(which does have its own positives). Ohwell when it happen it happen thats my tuppence.
