I agree with Wise old man about God existing in a timeless state therefore IT ALWAYS EXISTED and did not, at some point, COME into existence. I also agree that life could not have evolved. It's way too complex for that. The evolution of species was actually the evolution of Soul Itself. Soul started out in atom form and began to grow more complex. As It did, God gave It greater and greater vehicles of expression, like a parent giving a child a tricycle, then bicycle, then car, etc. But, I have had many, many past lives (as far back as throwing spears at mastedons and before that). I have been villians, heroes, good and faithful servants and you name it. I did not burn in hell forever and ever. I am not lying the grave waiting for the One Big Ressurection, I am not sitting up there with the Lord. This world is a school not a mistake. Soul's destiny is to achieve Enlightened (Christ or Budda or any name you wish to call it) Consciousness. Then it will graduate and go to live in the worlds of PURE SPIRIT. The Garden of Eden was not in this world, but in the Worlds of Pure Spirit where Soul came from. It was kicked out, really sent out, because It couldn't grow there. It needed the worlds of adversity to grow the way a seed needs soil to grow, not a felt-lined box. There are billions of worlds in this Universe with life on them. God doesn't waste creation. There are more Physical Universes than the one we know. The main physcal universe has life on every planet from Mercury to Pluto, but the vibrations there are much nicer and more condusive to life. Most the UFO"s come from these places. God is not Male nor Female. Is Light male? Is Love female? Neither is Soul. Male and female are forms Soul inhabits here in order to have experiences of needing and loving others. Good luck with everyone's research. A word of caution, don't be too literal in your interpretation of any Holy Book. On one end of the spectrum is Literal, on the other end is Enlightened. How literal are you?

Soul isn't lost, it doesn't need to be saved. Soul is in school. A perfect God has a perfect creation. A perfect creation doesn't mean a fallen angel slipped into a Garden of Eden when God wasn't looking and made mischef. A perfect creation doesn't mean 90-plus% of all people (Souls in human form) living here will burn in eternity. A perfect creation means things are going exactly like they were intended to go. The Universe is unfolding perfectly. One cannot see it in the human state, but must have a Higher State to see it. This Earth is just a school which God sends IT's children (Souls) to learn and to grow. When they have done that sufficiently, they graduate to become co-workers and co-creators with God in the Worlds of Pure Spirit, which is where they came from. Souls left as children, they return as Adults. The number of lifetimes required ia about 144,000. Remember that number in Revelations? One has to have Enlightenment of some sort to understand men of Enlightenment. The human state will always take things too literally and get it wrong. The Garden of Eden was not here on Earth but in the Pure Lands. Soul was sent from there because It couldn't grow there. It needed the harsh environs of Earth, the way a grain of wheat needs the soil of adversity to grow. Would wheat grow in a beautiful gold box...hardly. Take hope in this. You might be a lot closer than you think. I know I was. Good luck.

I agree with Emerald Lily. Is it either Darwin or Genesis? Perhaps one should look at other views. To say that the purpose of life is to serve and worship God or be doomed at Judgement Day, puts God into a very bad light. He sends billions of his children (Souls) down here for one chance to either find salvation or be burned forever, that's a plan? Would any parent send their child to school for a day and then say...hmmm, you didn't do so well, let me take a blowtorch to you forever and ever. In all eternity, one lifetime is hardly more than a flashbulb. What's the hurry? Let's say God sent his children down to the Earth School, to learn how to give and receive Unconditional Love. Their first few hundred lifetimes they didn't do so well. But, God has trillions of years (and many more) to work with so no big whoop. After. a few thousand lifetimes, those same children (souls) have suffered and grown and become sensitive to the sufferings of others, and open to God's Light and Love and well, go on to become the saints..and Saviors we know so well. And they, in turn, help the lesser developed Souls with their lessons. The older Souls eventually graduate as the newer souls come in, and the other souls move up a level, much like our school system. Hmmm, the purpose of life then, isn't to please a tyrant God who will burn us if we don't grovel at his feet, but rather the purpose is to grow spiritually by growing in our capacity to give and receive Uncondional Love. Now, THAT'S A PURPOSE! And when we have done that and done it to our best ability, then we graduate and become co-workers with God in the Worlds of Pure Love, where we help God carry on the ever-expanding worlds of Creation...Now, that's something to look forward to.

For that matter, is Love male or female? Is Intelligence male or female? Is Sound male or female? Imagine God, say, as a Giant Sun and Souls are rays of Intelligent Light from that Sun. Think of God as an Ocean of Light, Love and Intelligence and that Souls are but a drop of water from that Ocean. Where does Gender come in?

In my inner travels, I have discovered worlds beyond duality. Indeed, I have discovered that worlds of masculine and feminine were worlds of illusion that God created so that young Souls could experience various aspects of themselves and learn and grow by their experiences. I have had many past lives in both male and female bodies. Soul is as neuter as God. But, when It incarnates in the school of mind, matter, time and space It must assume a male or female form. God discovered that by incarnating Soul in neuter form (yes this was done, at first) that Soul just didn't need other souls very much and there was little growth, or caring, or love. The very thing Soul was sent to learn. Therefore, God split the Atom Soul into masculine and feminine. The masculing side of Soul took the Impersonal aspects of the Divine (detachment, reason, power, ambition strength etc.) while the feminine side took the more personal aspects of the Divine (caring, loving, sensitivity, intuitiveness etc.) Since everyone actually has both sides within them, there is alot of mixing in each individual...sensitive men, strong-willed women. But, the main result was that now, Souls had someone to look out for, to care for, and take care of. Someone to Love. Which was what they came here for in the first place..to learn to Love and to Love Unconditionally ..."like the Sun which shineth on both the good and the evil."

As we perfect both sides of ourselves through countless lifetimes, eventually we bring both sides together and return to the worlds of PURE SPIRIT as the WHOLE SOUL. This is known as SELF-REALIZATION. Beyond which, ofcourse, is GOD REALIZATION. But, that's another story for another day. May the Blessings of God be with you.

I think that Bjake has suffered too much at the hands of religion in past lives (and this one) to ever accept any kind of God in this life. So be it. God doesn't care. You have all eternity to figure out things out. I, myself, have had past lives where I, too, was an atheist. It was to shed attachments I had concerning so much of the superstitions and narrow-mindedness of religious institutions. When one rides into a village and slaughters the men, women and children because they're pagans, then crosses over to the other side and finds out they were ALL GOD'S CHILDREN, and.. 'why had I hurt and slaughtered them?' Well, there's really no answer that one can give, except "..how could I have been such a fool." And ofcourse, the next life, it was 'my family' who got slaughtered by misguided religious zealots. Eventually, these episodes lead to a life of atheism. "There is no God!" In truth, one learns that there is no God who wants us to slaughter our fellow man. One has to find a new God. I knew a man in this life who made 11 million dollars with some invention on the internet. He retired, being in his early 60's. While fiddling around the house, he accidentally electrocuted himself. His muscles contracted so much, they broke several bones. While knocked out, he had a near-death experience. He crossed over to the other side and experienced such overwhelming PURE LOVE, that after the medics 'brought him back'. All he wanted to do was help others and share the love. So, he took up a study of chinese medicine to help give healings to others. Which is where I met him. I hope Bjake finds some love in this life (without being electrocuted)..stray kittens always seemed to do it for me. But, above all, don't hate. There is no worse death, than death by hate. That's when the negative forces win. There is a Higher God, beyond all the gods of religions, I hope you can connect someday. God does allow for all the horrors of this world, because immature Souls need to experience foul deeds (like slaughtering and being slaughtered) because that's how they learn what God IS, and what God is NOT.

They're hard lessons, but eventually they develope great Souls. I would never harm anyone again. I even lift the ants out of the bathtub before I shower. Life works! There is a God....
