Hey, everyone, please check out this poll:
Miley Cyrus must be Severely Punished!! www.misterpoll.com/polls/343493
PLEASE take this poll, it has very few, if any, votes at all. Oh, yeah, and one more thing: I'm sorry, but the title is a bit misleading. I felt I had to make it this way in order for any interest to be generated!
Thanks, and you may leave a message on the forum to let me know what you think.
All you polltakers are male teens/young adults, ain't ya?
Dear Pollmaker:
Let's say you are searching the Internet, looking to buy a new car. For targeted audience response, you'd expect to see ads for auto loans, auto manufacturers' ads for new models, etc.
But it is just as likely, I think (and I find this actually happens) that from out of nowhere you'll see a banner ad for something completely unrelated, like...FTD Florist. What does sending flowers have to do with buying a new car?
My question is this: how do they decide which sites to promote their own stuff on? In other words, for the FTD Florist company, for example, what makes them think that they will get any sales from folks in the auto-buying market? And if not a car site, how do they know what other places to advertise on? Or is all just a shot in the dark?
Placing a banner ad for flowers on a site for home remodeling and interior design...that makes sense. But automobiles? I would say they are throwing money away, because they aren't going to get many customers. I say if you're going to advertise at all, do it right! Know your targeted audience!
Who's with me on this?
Does walking to and from school and/or work count as exercise?
What's wrong with it?
