This all sounds good on paper, and in the teachings of psychiatrists. Maybe in a perfect world this works... my personal experience is that of all the women I've met in my life who have been raped, all have had some sort of therapy and 0 of them were able to regain the ability to have normal sex. They all suffered some form of post-truamatic stress in varying degrees, but expecially for those who were young it left scars that never healed... ie: trust, fear of being alone with a man, fear of intercourse from memories of pain, some were damaged so that intercourse isn't possible. I could go on but I think you get the point.

And should be. There are 2 crimes that should be punishable by death... murder and rape. In most societies in this world that is the case. One destroys it's victims physically and the other emotionally. There is no mistake in rape. It is intentional. A mistake can be forgiven, rape can not.

Young girls who are raped are often truamatized to the point that they will never have the chance of a normal sexual relationship either. Should his punishment be any less than what she will have to endure? Since he is the one who willingly caused the truama, he should bear the responsibility and be accountable for the action.
Rape is permanent... the punishment should be as well.

Typical male porn. Why is it that men think that their wiener is so irresistable that a woman is going to fall in love with it no matter what? Including rape!! This is NOT the way a woman thinks, it's what men fantasize women think.
It's disgusting to read that a woman would debase herself to the point of giving O r a l S e x just to get a sperm sample... simply ludicrous. There is enough DNA in the secreted fluids during the rape that she wouldn't even need sperm to get a conviction. Anyway, all she'd have to do is jam a long q-tip down his wiener to get enough fluid to put in her panties. After that I would hope that she would just shred the offending organ. Let him try to explain how he got into that position.
