- Socks in class

In my school we had a no shoes policy meaning everyone had to change into plimsols everyday before going into their class. All teachers we OK if you forgot to bring your change of shoes, they let you stay in your shoes but my teacher made people remove their shoes whenever they forgot their plimsols, so they had to walk around just in socks all day. This was in the classroom and everywhere else in the building. It was humiliating sometimes, especially how it was only my class had to do this and sometime i was the only one just in my socks.
My uniform consisted of black trousers, white shirt, navy blue blazer and school tie and white socks (for some reason). For girls it is navy blue skirt, white shirt, school tie, navy blue blazer and white knee length socks or black tights. Shoes had no requirements as no shoes were allowed in the building, we had to remove them and walk around just in socks all day, they say to keep the school clean (most classrooms have carpets).
We had a no shoes policy, ie, everyday when arriving at school or coming in from break or lunch we had to change into out plimsols. If people forget them usually it was ok but my class teacher made the boys take theirs off and just have to walk around in socks for the rest of the day, whether in the classroom, assembly, lunch or wherever. Still don't know why she made us do this when no other teacher did and why it was only the boys.
