Yes my MIL does know about the poll. Her and my SIL helped me make the poll and most of the questions came from them. She has been looking at the results and she is deciding on my rules and punishments.

You are right I am a guy and I have been here for one month now. So far, she has gave me a curfew for 10. One night I missed it by 30 minutes and even though she said she grounded me, she never gave a time frame. She is really not that strict or mean but I know her well enough to do as I am told and listen to her. Especially when she is not in a good mood or she has a certain look on her face. I help out around the house and anyother thing that she may ask me to do. She has told me she would spank me in my underware with a belt if I need it but I really don't think she will. Having a 13 year old sister-in-law in the house, I guess I have to follow rules and disciplinary to show her a good example that you are never to old to not follow your parents or parents-in-law rules. I have been teaching for 11 years and have paddled boys and girls. When I first started it really was not a real big deal for a male staff to paddle a girl. However, since that time it has became a bigger issue for a male staff to paddle a girl. In my time as a teacher I have paddled a total of 21 girls and 40 boys. I always use a wooden paddle that is 18 inches long a half inch thick with no holes on boys. For girls, I use a smaller oval shape paddle that is a half inch thick and only about 13 inches in length. The normal amount of swats is 2 for first offense and 3 for second or more. I have only given 4 swats twice and that was to boys. All of the paddlings including boys are witnessed by a female teacher and she checks all them to see if they have any padding in their pockets. In return I witness all of her paddlings as well and like myself she has paddled more males than females. I have paddled two 19 year old and both of them ask for instead of other punishments. Over the years I have paddled less females each year, my first 6 years I paddled 13 girls and the last 5 years I paddled only 8. I know that it is a bigger risk than ever to paddle any student male or female. But for we as teacher have rules and punishment if the rules are broken and I have found in my experience that most students would prefer paddlings over ISS, detention and lines so that is what we do. When I do paddle there is nothing sexual and no perferted thoughts on what or how I am doing it and they will never be. I think sometime in the near future paddling will be banned but for now in our school it is used and most student would pick that over other punishments.
