Posted in Should women be at combat? on 2003-04-02 09:10:52

No to drafting women into combat.

Our society has really declined if we think it's OK to subject our young women to the horrors of ground combat. It's bad enough if we allow females to volunteer for combat or draft men into combat, but drafting women and forcing them to fight and die -- all in the name of "equality" -- is absolutely barbaric.

Men and women are simply not the same, either physically or mentally. Men and women have different abilities, excel at different tasks, and should have appropriately different responsibilities. It is not the duties of each sex that should be the same, but the AMOUNT OF RESPECT that we accord them that should be the same.

Compare just the chests of women and men. Women have breasts, which are best suited for nurturing the young. Men have pecs, which are best suited for protecting women and children.

Call me old-fashioned, but I believe that a baby belongs in a woman's breast and a bullet belongs in a man's chest, not the other way around.
