Hey, just out of curiousity, have you ever read the comic FOXTROT? The main character does a lot of computer stuff. It's really kinda' funny. PS. I can type 35 words per minute! (not 3 per second)
I completely understand that, honestly, I've consulted with an author I love about turning one of her books into a screenplay for a movie, and working out all the kinks does take a lot of time, there were however, MANY parts that are indeed essential to the actual story, such as the twins losing their money on a bet and harry giving them his money in order for them to start the joke shop. that is the whole reason they leave in the next book! BECAUSE they have enough money to do as they wish, they can't just drop out! and also, if there's no bet, there's no bagman who's also a great part of the story. I really do understand that people wouldn't want to sit through a long movie, but you have to understand that IT'S HARRY POTTER everyone I know (and that's a lot of people) said that they would have been willing to sit through the movie if it was an hour long. And, whatever happened to intermissions?! Remember Chitty Chitty Bang Bang? that was a great movie, and it wasn't even that long and it had an intermission. If newer movies had them, I'm sure they'd make more money. But, that's just my opinion. :P
yeah, i actually did know that, but you're right, the original title would have been fine. :)
I know, but it's a belief and beliefs basically are "religions", but you're right, I should have rephrased that. Also, there are a lot of others on the list that don't exactly jive, but people believe in them, so, whatever . . . (ex- church of satan, etc.)
i thought they were on the list . . . :( I'll check again . . .
