I hear nothing but good things about this first horror anthology, but it has not aged well. All the stories were done much better later, in The Twilight Zone!

Chucky goes after Jester, but the other puppets bumrush him and tear him to bits like they do to every main baddie of the series
mike myers v.s. Jason
Mike Myers (Not Michael Myers) stars as the comic relief in the film, and gets killed after making sex-jokes
Freddy v.s. Wishmaster
Freddy tries to make himself more powerful, but it backfires on him because he's just as dumb as everyone who seeks the Djinn (Unless it's part of the Djinn's plan to actually make Freddy more powerful, but he screws the Djinn over and goes after him supercharged)
Leprachaun v.s. Hellraiser
Lep gets ticked that Pinhead is taking over his turf and tries to use all his magic to kill him, but he's less powerful... 'nuff said :P
It (the clown) v.s. Killjoy
If I remember correctly both are powerfully illusory creatures who prey on streetwise kids... depends on who gets caught in whose dimension...
Candyman v.s. Bloody Mary
Both live in mirror world... I dunno which Bloody Mary you're talking about, but wasn't the Urban Legends one just some tormented kid? If they had a reason to fight at all, Candyman carves her up...
Scream v.s. Demonic Toys
Ghostface is in essence two dumb criminals... Watch the first demonic toys and you'll see they destroy two dumb criminals purty well...
Pumpkin Head v.s. Jigsaw
Jigsaw kills humans, but is a human and relies on intricate traps. Pumpkinhead kills humans, but is a giant monster and is near invulnerable. Only way Jigsaw survives is if he and Pumpkinhead are after the same thing, which is a possibilty, since they both basically live to punish...

How does Jason beat the Predator? Jason moves like molasses in January, the predator has a lazer beam! How does Chucky beat the Leprechaun? The Leprechaun can stand up to vast physical damage and has magical powers, Chucky has a knife, a gun, or whatever's on hand!

I would take the pile of gold or whatever. I believe that unless the tablet contained accurate information pertaining to the future, I could probably amass sufficient wisdom on my own, if I set myself to it.
One can find wisdom anywhere, a pile of gold is not as easy to come across, honestly, the tablet would probably say something just like that. >_>
