I am now 24 and was caned by Mum at home until a few days before my 18th birthday. I was bought up with 2 sisters. If Mum picked up the cane and told us to bend over we would take of our skirts / jeans lower our knickers to knee level and touch our toes and take our punishment. Mum did say that we should always be caned by a woman and if she was away she would phone her sister and ask her to come around to the house to carry out the punishment. Mum did order me to bend over a month after my 18th birthday but I refused and she did not persue the matter. My sisters took their punishments until their 18th birthday and my youngest sister took a caning 3 days after her 18th birthday as the offence was committed before her 18th birthday but non of us would bend over after that. I would not bend over for anybody now especially a man but i thought it was fair we should be caned until the same age. Mum kept a punishment book and I had 69 canings (185 strokes). My sisters had 50 and 53 canings. We had 423 strokes of the cane between us over the years.

I am not sure if I would agree with you here Jennifer. I swore at my mothers sister a few years ago and was warned about it and then swore again. Mum said right that is enough and she fetched the cane.

I was then told to remove my skirt and knickers and told to bend over. Mum then caned my bum twice right in front of her sister.

I think 4 might have been a bit hard but we don't know how bad the swearing was. I will talk to you again when I have a bit more time.

Did your daughter have her caning and did she bend over properly?. Usually if my mother told me to bend over I would take off my skirt and tights. I would then bend over and touch my toes and my mother would lower my knickers to about half way down my thighs. She would tell me how many strokes I would have and would say I would have 2 extra if I stood up before the strokes were completed.

She would then do the caning.

Between 8 and 17 I had 69 canings and 185 strokes of the cane. I think it is OK to give your daughter a few canings but 3 strokes stings like blazes on the bare bottom. I had one punishment of 8 strokes for smoking which was extremely painful and very excessive as I had only had about 2 puffs.

I think you should give your daughter 2 strokes as a first punishment on her bare bottom and only use the cane as a last resort in future. I think the number of canings I had was excessive and other punishments could have been used eg smacked with my mothers hand or the slipper.
